PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS TO ENSURE THE SAFE AND EFFECTIVE USE OF THE JUMP STARTER.
•
Read and follow the instructions published by the vehicle’s battery manufacturer and the manufacturer of any
equipment you intend to use in the vicinity of the battery. Review all caution markings on these products and on
the engine.
•
DO NOT allow the positive (red) and negative (black) booster clamps of the Jump starter to come into contact with
each other or a common piece of metal at any time. Sparking, explosion, or damage to the unit may result. The
safety switch should be off at all times except when using the Jump Starter to re-start your battery (see
instructions).
•
When jump starting a vehicle, make sure that the positive and negative booster clamps are properly connected to
the vehicle and the battery. Failure to connect the clamps properly may cause sparking, an explosion, or damage
to the unit.
•
DO NOT smoke or allow a spark or flame near the vehicle’s battery and engine.
•
ALWAYS wear eye protection when working with batteries.
•
KEEP THIS JUMP STARTER OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
•
If battery acid comes into contact with eyes, flush the eyes with water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical
attention immediately.
•
Never operate this unit near any flammable gasses, liquids, or near an open flame.
•
If skin or clothing comes into contact with battery acid, immediately wash the affected area with soap and water
and seek medical attention.
•
Be sure to remove all metal items (watches, necklaces, rings, etc,) before using the Jump Starter.
•
DO NOT expose the Jump starter to moisture.
•
DO NOT use the Jump Starter in extremely hot conditions.
•
Always turn the Safety Switch off when not in use.
•
DO NOT open the Jump Starter. There are no serviceable parts in this unit. If you do open this unit up you will
void
the warranty.
•
Only charge the unit with the 120V AC charger supplied with the unit.
•
Keep this unit away from any sources of moisture or humidity such as rain or snow.
•
Only use the 12V outlet with 12V accessories.
