Back panel of the USB Autoscope IV.

12 V connection. Used for powering certain transducers that are connected to the inputs.
Connects to the diagnosed vehicle battery through the power supply cable.

Ignition connection. Analog inputs 7, 8.

Used for connection of the
USB Autoscope IV
to USB 2.0 480 Mbit/s (
HI-SPEED
) port of a laptop or PC. The connection uses a
USB 2.0 type A-B cable.

Spacers for attaching of the device to the Device Holder.

Spacers for attaching of USB cable hanger.

Analog input 8.
Control output. Normally, analog input number 7 and 8 are
used for ignition inputs "In-" and "In+" as well as "In Synchro",
however, if pin 2 and 4 on the ignition connector are connected
together, an internal switch is engaged with the following
result: pin 1 will be connected to analog input number 8 and
pin 5 to analog input number 7.
