10.10.
INSTRUCTIONS: REPLACING THE INDUCTIVE POSITION SENSOR
1.
Open the panel giving access to the inductive position sensor (see
section 10.1.
2.
Unscrew the sensor [17] and remove it (see
).
3.
Remove the connector [19] from the old inductive position sensor.
4.
Install the connector [19] on the new inductive position sensor.
5.
Place the new inductive position sensor on its bracket and tighten the nut and locknut [17].

Loosen the bolts [18] to move the inductive position sensor closer to or farther from the crankshaft.
With the Maintenance panel, confirm that the inductive position sensor is within range for all
positions of the moving glass obstacle, and tighten the bolts [18].
6.
Initialize the inductive position sensor using the Maintenance panel (refer to Sensor initialization in
Maintenance mode in the
Maintenance Panel Manual
).
