A / The fuse has blown. Check the fuse on the car battery’s positive pole. Replace the
fuse.
B / Bad contact. Clean any oxide from all the fuses and the car battery leads.
C / The car battery is spent. Check the car battery using a voltmeter.
Worn or damaged pinion in the motor/gearbox. Replace.
The wire runs against the edge. NOTE: If the wire is seriously damaged, do not use
the lifter as this may represent a risk to the user and scooter. Replace the wire and
ensure it does not rub against anything.
Resistance is due to dirt on the vertical lift arm. Dismantle the parts and clean. Spray
slewing components with a silicone lubricant to reduce friction.
