Remove the unit from the ESD Bag.
2.
The unit comes with DIN-Rail mounting clips
for easy snap clips on the rear side of the
unit.
3.
Attach the Power Supply connector (CON1)
and make sure the power ratings are within
product specifications.
4.
Connect additional external connectors
(CON2-4) according to specification related to
the applicable application. This may include
the following:
* CAN bus (J1939)
* All Faults
* Switch Inputs
* Magnetic Pickup
* PT 100 Sensors
* 4-20 mA Sensors
* RIO Link

For improved sealing use a RJ45 connector
cap.
A Connector Kit (P/N: 1006479) with four
Deutsch DT-connectors, crimp sockets and
sealing plugs is available. See the Installation
Manual for further information.
The DCU has a built in web server with access to
a full configuration of the unit.
PC Connection/Setup:
Connect via Ethernet using a Net Browser
From the Address Field in the Browser, type
the IP-Address. Factory Default is
192.168.0.101.
Then log in to the unit. Factory Default
Username is ‘
DCU’
and Factory Default
password is ‘
1234’
.
