Troubleshooting
It is advisable to make certain all units are using the latest firmware before troubleshooting.
Display will not show a picture
⚫
All devices are powered on.
⚫
Make certain proper HDMI input is selected.
⚫
Make certain common EDID was learned from output 1.
⚫
Verify the cabling is plugged in properly at DXE-218 and display.
⚫
Some displays have a specific input for HDMI 2.0 or certain capabilities.
⚫
All the cables are qualified.
⚫
The display is on proper input and turned on.
⚫
Display is capable of the resolution.
Display has image with wrong color
⚫
Make certain to learn the EDID from the correct display with common denominator. The unit will learn the EDID
automatically from output 1 to input 1 & 2.
⚫
If different displays are used with the same source an EDID with a common denominator must be used.
Audio not working
⚫
Verify correct EDID usage. If EDID has 5.1 surround sound listed and display cannot do 5.1 there will be no
audio. Lack of EDID will also cause a source to output DVI which lacks audio.
⚫
Check volume on display or amplifier
IP control is not working
⚫
Check wiring for LAN and the connection/activity LEDs are lit.
⚫
Verify the IP address matches the control system IP address range.
