WEDGE TRANSMISSION

This chapter covers Keyboard Wedge interface information for setting up your scanner. This

interface type is used to attach the scanner between the keyboard and host computer.

The scanner translates the bar code data into keystrokes. The host computer accepts the key

strokes as if  they originate from the keyboard This mode of  operation allows adding bar code

reading functionality to a system designed for manual keyboard input. In this mode the keyboard

keys trokes are simply passed

through.

Throughout the programming bar code menus, default values are indicated with asterisks

* USB HID

No Terminator

* Terminator = Enter Keyboard

Setting Terminator

Terminator = Enter Keypad
