TROUBLESHOOTING
Before contacting costumer service, check the troubleshooting information
listed in the table.

No Power.
The unit is turned off.
Press the POWER button
to turn on the unit.
The power cord is not
connected correctly.
Make sure that the
power cord is properly
connected to the rear of
the unit.
The power outlet is
broken.
Connect the unit to a
different outlet.
The batteries are flat.
Replace the batteries.
No Sound –
General.
MASTER VOLUME is set
to minimum.
Adjust the volume with
the MASTER VOL control.
Correct function was not
selected.
Select the correct
function with the Function
button.
An external device is
used.
Increase the volume on
the external device.
No Sound –
If connected to
a TV.
Volume on the TV is
muted or too low.
Adjust the volume on the
TV set.
The correct source was
not selected on the TV’s
menu.
Select the correct source
(usually AV).
Lyrics do not
appear on the
TV screen.
Video plug is not
connected properly.
Insert the video plug
correctly.
The wrong source was
selected on the TV set.
Select the correct source
on TV (usually AV).
The file/track being
played is not a track
recording with lyrics.
Only files containing
lyrics will be displayed on
the TV.
AUX-IN or BT function is
used.
In AUX IN or BT mode,
nothing is displayed on
the TV screen. Use a
different mode to display
lyrics on the TV.
