COMMISSIONING

Stream music

Note

: The factory default name of the device is NAP883MTFT. 

This name can be changed as desired (see section „Settings“). The 

information below shows how media can be streamed from PC or other 

media servers. Please refer to the user‘s manual of the respective device. 

Make sure that the music files are in MP3, WMA or WAV format. Refer to the 

Media Center section for more information on playing streamed music.

UPnP

To stream music from your PC, the following steps must be performed on 

the PC:

•  Connect the PC to the WLAN network.

•  Make sure that the Internet radio is connected to the same WLAN 

network.

•  Open the UPnP platform Windows Media Player (11 or higher). You 

can also use other platforms or servers, such as Windows Media 

Connection.
