Input Level
These controls can be used to match the input
sensitivity of the individual channels to the output
voltage of the connected head unit. These controls
are not volume controls and are solely intended for
the purpose of sensitivity trimming. The adjustment
range for the low level input is 0,4 to 6 Volts and 1 -
15 Volts for the high level input.
If the high level input is used with a standard car
radio we are recommending an input sensitivity of
9 Volts.

X-Over
To switch the internal active frequency crossover to
high pass, full range (linear) or lowpass / bandpass.
If this switch is set on HPF (high pass filter), the
exact crossover frequency for the high pass can be
adjusted with control 11.
At switch position FULL (full range) the internal fre-
quency crossover is not active.
At switch position LPF (low pass filter / band pass)
the high pass is always active. That means a band
pass is created in any case.
As high pass (11) and low pass (13) are adjusted
every desired bandpass between 10 Hz and 4000
Hz can be adjusted.
Caution:
To avoid a loss of sound pressure make
sure that the crossover frequencies of high and low
pass are separated of 2 octaves when building a
bandpass.
That means if the low pass signal is adjusted to 320
Hz the high pass should be adjusted 2 octaves lo-
wer on approx. 80 Hz. (1 octave = double frequency
or half frequency)
If a subwoofer is connected we recommend to use
the high pass control 11 as variable subsonic filter
or turn it counter-clock-wise to 10 Hz to get a sub-
sonic filter.
