4.6 Adjustments and connectors
4.6.1 Loop connector
The induction loop is connected via the NL4 Speaker Twist connector located on the rear
panel of the driver.
It has four poles, with 1+ parallel to 2+ and 1- parallel to 2-.
4.6.2 Audio inputs
Audio sources connect via the 3 inputs of the driver provided for this purpose.
The driver has 3 types of input :
INPUT 1: Line or microphone level
INPUT 2: Line or microphone level
INPUT 3: 100 V level
4.6.3 100V priority input
INPUT 3 (100V) on the rear panel of the driver is designed to prioritize 100 V PA systems.
If several active audio sources are fed to the inputs of the driver, it will always be INPUT 3
that has priority over the others.
Incoming signals on INPUT 3 will mute INPUT 1 and INPUT 2.
4.6.4 Link connectors
On the rear of the unit you will find 2 sockets for 6.35mm jacks. With these balanced con-
nections, several loop drivers can be connected with each other.
4.6.5 Line output
It is possible to connect a recording device and other gear to the line output of the loop
driver. The line output of the amplifier is the 6.35mm jack marked »OUT«, which is also
used to link several loop drivers when installing complex systems.
A further 3.5 mm jack socket can be found on the front of the device, for easy monitoring
of the audio output via headphones.
4.6.6 Power supply
PRO LOOP NX drivers use a direct power supply of 100 - 265 V AC - 50/60 Hz.
