4.6.3 Priority 100V input
INPUT 3
(100V) on the rear panel of the driver is designed to prioritize PA systems in order
to facilitate emergency anouncements and other important notifications.
If
several active audio sources are fed to the inputs of the driver, it will always be INPUT
3 that has priority over the others. Incoming signals on INPUT 3 will mute INPUT 1 and
INPUT 2.
In some cases, and if the configuration allows it, we recommend to connect the sound
system on INPUT 1 and INPUT 2 of the driver and the PA source on the INPUT 3.
4.6.4 Input and outputs jack sockets 6.35 mm
On the back of the amplifier you can see 2 sockets for 6.35mm jacks, these in- and outputs
can connect several PRO LOOP D15 LOS drivers together to create phased single loop
systems, low overspill systems or ultra-low overspill systems.
Various configuration possibilities are described in section 4.7.
4.6.5 Line output
It is possible to connect a recorder and other gear to the line output of the loop amplifier.
The line output of the amplifier is the 6.35mm jack marked »OUT«, which is also used to
link several amplifiers when installing complex systems. A further 6.35mm jack socket can
be found on the front of the device, for easy audio-monitoring with headphones.
4.6.6 Power supply
PRO LOOP D drivers have a direct power supply of 230V AC (or 115V), of a power of
300VA.
4.6.7 Status relay
The
status output is used to send information about the status of the loop driver to external
devices via a NO / NC relay.
