4 Configuration
All the necessary configurations for the telephone are made via the application software used or your operating
system.
If this is not done automatically, please carry out the following steps.
The names of the various menu options and buttons may vary slightly according to the different operating
systems, e.g.
Sounds and Audio Devices
=
Multimedia
. The steps for installation, however, are identical.
Configuring the USB telephone
Open the
USB Wideband Phone Settings
dialogue. Make your selections from the
General Options, Audio Settings,
Tone Settings
or
About
menus. Select the settings you require. Click on the
Apply
button and then
OK
to apply the
settings and close the pulldown menu.
Configuring Skype
Open the
Skype
application.
Select
Tools
,
Options
and then
Sounds and Audio Devices
.
Select your
USB Telephone
from the
Devices
pulldown menu. Complete this process for both the
Audio In
as well as
the
Audio Out
features.
Click on the
Save
button to apply the settings and close the pulldown menu.
