Recording Notes
With your answering machine you can leave messages for other people who use your
answering machine, e.g. your family. These messages can be listened to later using
the
button.
Press and hold the
button.
Start recording the note after the signal tone. The display shows
rE
. E.g.
“Hallo Thomas, you will find your meal in the fridge. I will be back at 10
o’clock”.
When you have finished your message, simply release the
button.
The display will flash and will show a further message.

Recording telephone calls
You can record a telephone call that you are in the process of making. In this way,
you can listen to details of the call again later.
During the call, press the
button. The display will show
2r
and your
answering machine will now record the call.
Press the
button again to finish recording.
The recorded call can be played back with the
button.

Using the answering machine as a greeting service
The slide switch "REC. - GREETING ONLY" can be found on the rear of your answering
machine. This switch is normally in the "REC." position and callers will be able to
leave messages.
In the "GREETING ONLY" position, it is not possible for the user to leave a message.
In this way, you can use your answering machine as a greeting service. The caller will
hear your recorded message and the call will be automatically terminated.
Please use a small screw driver to change the setting.
NOTE:
If you have selected the "GREETING ONLY" function, you must record your
own greeting message with a special text. Draw the caller's attention to the fact that
he is unable to leave a message. It is not possible to use the standard greeting
message.
