Connect the L-shaped end of the splitter power cable to the phone's  DC 12V power port  and the 
straight end to the HRS-458 speaker. Connect the two-prong adapter directly to the electrical wall 

outlet.

Upgrading Firmware 

 

To upgrade firmware if prompted:

 If, after connecting speaker to phone, you're prompted to

Note: 

If the update is interrupted, the 458 speaker will not be usable. It will only exit 'upgrade 

mode' and resume operational mode when the update is successfully completed.
