Cast Basket
The dual voice coil woofers use a polished chrome aluminum cast basket. This ensures a perfect
alignment on each and every woofer. Unlike stamped baskets the cast basket can not bend or tweak
under normal play and wear. Rigidity is important when trying to achieve high SPL and loud bass
response.
Concave Dust Cap
This provides the best combination of weight and strength, which allows for extremely high levels of output
without cone failure. The convex shape of the cone provides increased rigidity and lowers distortion.
