CONTROLLING THE VOLUME
•
Press the
VOL
+/-
buttons to adjust the volume. If the maximum or minimum vol-
ume is reached,
VOL MAX
or
VOL MIN
appears in the display.
•
Press the
+/-
buttons on the device to adjust the volume.
•
Press the
MUTE
button to switch off the sound temporarily. Use the
MUTE
button
or the
VOL +/-
buttons to switch the sound back on.
Sound and connection types
Depending on the connection you use to transmit the sound from the television to the
2.1 Sound System, it may only be possible to adjust the volume on the 2.1 Sound Sys-
tem, or this may also be possible on the television. This may also vary from one televi-
sion to another.

If you have an HDMI (ARC) television and this is connected to the 2.1 Sound System
via an HDMI (ARC) cable, you can control the volume using the remote control of the
television or the remote control of the 2.1 Sound System. In both cases, only the vol-
ume of the 2.1 Sound System is changed.

If you have connected the
AUX
input to the television using an audio cable,
always control the volume of the devices using their own remote controls.

ADJUSTING THE EQUALISER
To adjust the sound to your preferences, there are three different settings:
NEWS,
MOVIE
and
MUSIC
.
Repeatedly press the button
EQ,
until the corresponding LED flashes as desired.
Equaliser

(for news)

MOVIE
(for films)
flashes orange
MUSIC
(for music)
flashes blue
