, the IDRA 2 shield was tested against high-speed parti-
cles, molten metal, hot solids and liquid splashes according to
standard EN 166. The shield has received an
anti-fogging
treat-
ment on the inside and an anti-scratch treatment on the outside.
The shield is optical class 1 hence permanent use is allowed.
IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS
The shield must be exclusively mounted on IDRA 2 safety
helmets.
•
Shield care:
the shield must be cleaned daily with warm water
and soap using a non-abrasive cloth to maintain the integrity of
surface treatments (anti-fogging inside, anti-scratch outside).

Disinfection:
if necessary, use isopropyl alcohol.
•
The shield can be damaged by certain chemicals. Do
not use aggressive chemicals such as solvents or deter-
gents.
