4. Transcoding Application
This chapter describes how to set up an IP stream from an Ethernet port for Transcoding and publishing an SPTS stream.

4.2 Ethernet Resources
An Ethernet Resource is an input to the platform which exists on one of the Ethernet interfaces as an IP stream. These
resources are used as source content for subsequent transcoding.
4.2.1 View Resource Attributes
Existing Ethernet resource attributes may be viewed by clicking the resource in the Tree View.
1. Click on the
Resource
icon in Tree View to select it, Figure 4-1.
2. View Basic Input parameters such as IP Address and Port, and the eth port it appears on.
3. View SPTS stream PIDs and the stream parameters.
