and elegant exterior. Your Aton can do a lot more than just make calls:
Bluetooth, Ethernet, DECT and (device-specific) FAX port
Connect your Aton to the Internet and your PC via Ethernet. Use public and private directories
on the Internet (
page 30). Update the directory on your Aton, the address book on your
Bluetooth mobile phone and your directory on the PC simultaneously.
Directory with vCards – calendar and appointments
Save phone numbers and other data to the local directory (
page 29). Enter appointments
and anniversaries in the calendar and set reminders.
Use your Aton as a PABX
Register up to six handsets and a fax machine and use your phone answering machine.
Using the Bluetooth interface, you can register up to five GSM mobile phones. You can con-
nect one of the mobile phones with the base and make calls using this GSM connection –
Link2mobile.

Getting started/new firmware
If the Ethernet connection cable is plugged in, the latest firmware version is automatically
requested from the Gigaset server. If a newer version of the firmware is available, the software
update can be activated and the device's existing software is replaced.
