Motorcycle Assembly
To Assemble the rear shock absorber, align the hole in the swing-arm
link with the hole in the shock absorber. Insert the shock absorber
bolt completely through and tighten the nut to 30 ft. lbs. Be sure
that there is one bearing on each side of the shock absorber and one
spacer inserted through the bearings. If you are unsure how to align
the bearings and spacer, refer to the rear suspension diagram in the
service section of this manual.
Motorcycle Assembly
Align the fender with the holes in the lower triple clamp and insert
the two bolts to the rear of the motorcycle. Before you insert the
front bolt, insert the number plate tab between the fender and the
lower triple clam
The number plate tab should be inserted just like the photo to the
right. Securely tighten the three fender bolts. Next, fold the number
plat upward and secure it to the upper triple clamp using the Phillips
head screw circled in the photo to the right.
The motorcycle has now been assembled. Do Not ride the
motorcycle without reading through this manual and fully
understanding the COMPLETE PRE-RIDE INSPECTION! operation of
the motorcycle. Be sure that you have completed the pre-ride
inspection outlined in this manual before riding.
