10.2. CLEANING THE HOUSING
Note
Prior to cleaning the exterior, protect the power inlet, top grating, Dust collector flap
openings and further case openings to (interior) electrical components from water ingress
with appropriate means.
After observing chapter 10.1, clean the housing with a soft, mist-damp and lint-free cloth.
Ensure that no moisture enters the housing. Protect electrical components from moistu-
re. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents such as cleaning sprays, solvents, alcohol-
based or abrasive cleaners to dampen the cleaning fabric. Wipe the housing dry after
cleaning.
10.3. DUST COLLECTOR CHANGE (ONLY BY AUTHORIZED SPECIALIST COMPANIES)

Warning of electrical voltage and UV light danger
The Dust collector must only be replaced by authorized specialist companies or
by the manufacturer.
Warning
Use an FFP2 mask, protective glasses and disposable gloves when changing the
Dust collector.
Caution
Dirty Dust collectors can cause allergic reactions to the skin, eyes and respiratory
organs through contact with Dust collector dusts.
The Dust collector change intervals depend on the degree of air pollution and the Dust
collector quality. Dirty Dust collectors impair the performance ability of the device.
Please proceed as follows to change one of the two G4 inlet Dust collectors
(observe chapter 10.1):
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 Phillips head screws (5) from the respective
side Dust collector flap (6) .
2. Open the Dust collector flap by folding it out towards the side.
3. Remove the used Dust collector fleece from the Dust collector flap’s fleece holder.
4. Put the worn Dust collector in a bag and dispose of it in the household waste.
5. Thoroughly clean the Dust collector flap from the inside and outside
(see 10.2 Cleaning the housing).
6. Install a new Dust collector.
7. Fold back the Dust collector flap onto the device and tighten the screws.
