Basic Operation

LED Indicators

The following table provides a listing of front-panel LED indicators and their status:

LED

Description

PWR

Off

Unit is powered off.

• 

If using a PoE switch, make sure that the port on the switch that is 

connected to the decoder, has PoE enabled.  When the decoder is 

powered using PoE, the 

PWR

 indicator will be green.

• 

Check the Ethernet cable for possible damage or loose connections.

• 

If a PoE switch is not being used, then a PoE injector (not included) 

will need to be connected to the decoder.

Red

The decoder is booting.

Green

The decoder is ready.

LINK

Red

• 

The decoder is powered, but no Ethernet cables are connected 

between the switch and the 

ETHERNET

 port.

• 

Check the Ethernet cable for possible damage or loose connections.

Green

Link integrity is good between the decoder and the network.
