INSTALLATION
Main Power Switch Forward and Reverse Button
APPLICATION:
The document shredder is a machine designed for the destruction of common written
material. The unit should be only fed with paper! Shredding other types of materials
can cause injuries (i.e. by splinters of hard materials) or may damage the shredder
(i.e. destruction of the cutting system).
INSTALLATION:
-Unpack and set the machine upright.
-Take the machine by the handles on each side and put it onto a horizontal surface.
-Plug in
the machine. See “TECHNICAL DATA” for necessary precautions.
-The outlet should be located near the equipment and be easily accessible.
The main connection at the machine must be freely accessible.
OPERATION
SHREDDER CONTROLS
Buttons
Switch Main Power Switch (A) to ON position.
Press Power Button (B) to turn on.
Press Power Button (B) to turn the power off.
Press and hold FWD to manually operate shredder in forward (E).
Press and hold REV to manually operate shredder in reverse (H) .
OPERATION
1. Turn on the main power switch in back of shredder (A) . Press the power
button (B) .
2. The following function buttons will illuminate: power button (B) , the FWD (E)
and REV (H) .
3. Insert paper into paper feed slot (C) . Do not feed more than the assigned
maximum number of sheets at one time. The shredder will stop after paper
has passed through.
4. To shred a CD, DVD or credit card insert through designated slot (G) .
5. After shredding, press the power button (H) to turn off the shredder and turn
off the power switch in back of shredder (A) .
6. Empty the waste bin regularly to prevent jams and damage to cutting
mechanism.
