Safety instructions
It is necessary to wear suitable protective clothing such as gloves and goggles. The contact with the refrigerant
can cause blindness and other injuries. Read all service procedures and precautions, installation instructions
and operating instructions carefully. Failure to follow these precautions or improper use of the equipment may
result in property damage, personal injury, or death. Never allow untrained personal to perform these
procedures or to operate this device.
In case of rain or excessive moisture never use the device outside
You necessarily need to wear gloves.
You necessarily need to wear goggles.
Before
using
the
AC134 eco
read and understand the manual.
Avoid contact with the skin. The low boiling temperature (about -22 °F) may provoke freezing.
The room in which the AC134 eco is operated must be adequately ventilated.
While the machine is in operation, do not smoke.
While using the device keep the tubes away from rotating and hot elements such as ventilators,
radiators, etc.
Do not inhale the steam of the refrigerant gas.
While the device is operating, children and mentally disabled people should keep away.
Before the AC134 eco is connected to an ACD system or to an external tank, make sure that all valves
are closed.
Before turning off the AC134 eco be ensured that the stages are over and that all valves are closed.
Thereby, the leakage of the refrigerant into the outside air is avoided.
Do not change the setting of the safety valves and control systems.
Exclusively use external tanks or other storage tanks that are equipped with safety valves and that
have the necessary standards.
Put the AC134 eco in not-energized modus if it is not used. Before a long time of nonuse or before
servicing always disconnect the power supply
During maintenance, proceed with caution: in the tubes could be refrigerant under pressure.
Do not use the device in an explosive environment. Extraordinary maintenance interventions should
only be done by special personal.
For checking the consistence and pressure in the R134a devices or in the air-conditioning system of
the vehicle do not use compressed air. Some mixtures of air / HCF-134a can burn at high pressure.
Such mixtures are potentially very dangerous and may cause fire or explosions and subsequent
injuries or damages. For more information on safety measures and the protection of persons and
objects ask the manufacturer of coolant.
The device must always be placed in the normal standing position.
When moving, the bottle must not
be shaken too much.
Work in a well-lit environment.
Do not inhale oil vapor or steam of the refrigerant. The steams may irritate the eyes and respiratory
tract. To remove residues of R134a on the A/C system only use the special recycling-units for R134a. If
refrigerant gets into the outdoor air, ventilate the working area well before you start working again.
