Selecting the Input Mode
Input Modes
You can switch among different input modes based on your needs. Refer to the
table below for how each mode works. The default setting is Auto Switch.
Input Mode
Description
Auto Switch
(LED lights orange)
Before power on, the VE3912T prioritizes HDMI
transmission if all three DisplayPort, HDMI and
VGA inputs are plugged in at the same time.
After power on, the VE3912T prioritizes the latest
detected input source transmission to the
connected receiver.
Note:
You can disable this part of the Auto Switch
mode (automatic input switching) using an RS-232
command. For more details, see
DisplayPort
(LED lights orange)
The VE3912T only transmits DisplayPort source to the
connected receiver.
HDMI
(LED lights orange)
The VE3912T only transmits HDMI source to the
connected receiver.
VGA
(LED lights orange)
The VE3912T only transmits VGA source and its audio
input to the connected receiver.
