Extend column to maximum height
Without releasing the
spring latch, slide the
upper part of the column
out slowly.
Note:
Do not attempt to
pull the upper part of the
column out beyond the
MAX indicator.
Make sure the spring latch
is fully pressed in before
letting go of the upper
part of the column.

Whilst resting the base of
the column on the floor,
firmly hold the upper part
of the column and pull the
spring latch out.
