Fax Port
You can use the jack labeled
FAX
on the back of the unit as a convenient
alternative to the wall jack. Simply connect the fax machine to the unit’s
FAX
jack. A call picked up at another extension may interrupt fax
transmission. Incoming faxes are received like other incoming calls (see
“Caller ID-Call Waiting While on Handset” on page 14 and “Internet Call
Waiting” beginning on page 15 for details).
