Telephone Operation
Call forward
An external call can be forwarded between the follow-
ing parties:
• From one handset to another handset (sold sepa-
rately).
• From a handset to the base.
• From the base to a handset.
Call forward
You can forward an external call from one handset to
another handset or to the base.
• Press and hold
INTERCOM
. You will see “
ENTER
HANDSET #
”.
• Enter the handset number (or 0 for the base) to
which you want to forward the call. The display will
show “
CALL FORWARDED
”.
• The destination set will ring and the display will
show “
INCOMING CALL
”.
• Press
PHONE
,
SPEAKER
or any dial pad key on the
destination handset to answer the call. On the base
SPEAKERPHONE
or any dial pad key will answer the
call.
NOTE:
If the forwarded call is not answered within 60 seconds, the
external call will be returned to the base or handset that originated the for-
ward, and its display will show
CALL BACK
. If the returned call is not
answered within an additional 60 seconds, the external call will end automati-
cally.
