Using The Power Defrost Mode
Setting the Power Defrost Mode
Choose from fi ve pre - programmed microwave settings for defrosting. Defrosting time and
power level are automatically set. Simply select the setting and weight to start defrosting.
Open the door. Place the frozen food (in a suitable container or on a suitable
plate) in the centre of the turntable. Close the door.

Press the Defrost button.

Turn the SELECTION KNOB to
choose the desired defrost item.
Press the
WEIGHT button to set the
desired defrost item. (Refer to the
table on page 23 for a description of
the 5 Power Defrost settings.)

Select the food weight by turning the
SELECTION KNOB .

Press the START button to start
defrosting.
Result
► Defrosting begins.
► The microwave oven beeps half way through defrosting to remind you to turn the food over.
When the defrosting time has elapsed, an audible signal sounds four times and in the display
you will see “END” blinking four times. Then the microwave oven switches itself off. The micro-
wave oven will then beep once every minute for 3 minutes.
Important
1) Use only containers that are microwave - safe.
2) You can also defrost food manually. To do so, select a power level of 180 W. Refer to the
cooking guides on page 32 for further details.
