Using the cooking timer
1. Select the desired cooking zone and set the power.
2. Touch the timer key.

The timer symbol of the relevant cooking zone starts blinking.
3. Use the slide control to set the desired time (from 0 to 99 minutes).

First set a value in the right display and wait until the figure no longer flashes and a
dash appears in the left display. Then set the left display (if a preset time longer than 9
minutes is required).

The selected cooking zone will switch off automatically once the set time has elapsed.

The alarm beeps after the set time has passed.
4. Touch the slide control to stop the alarm.
Touch the cooking zone key, touch the timer key and use the slide control to view or to
change the time that has been set.
Touch cooking zone key, then touch the timer key and then touch the slide control at the
position ‘0’ to switch off the cooking timer before the time has passed.
All the cooking zones can have a cooking timer that has been set. The timer display
always shows the timer with the shortest time.
It is not possible to use the minute minder and the cooking timer at the same time.
Pause cooking
Use the pause mode if you wish to interrupt the cooking process (for example to clean the hob
during cooking). Heating of the cooking zones, timer settings, etc. will then be paused. The
maximum pause time is 10 minutes. After 10 minutes in pause mode the hob will switch off.
1. Touch and hold the pause key until you hear a beep.

The cooking zone displays show the pause symbol and the indicator above the pause
key cones on. The hob is now in pause mode.
Touch and hold the pause key until you hear a beep (the indicator above the pause key
starts blinking) and then within 10 seconds touch the slide control to switch off the pause
mode before the time has passed. The cooking process and timers start again.
OPERATION
