6.
Transport and Setup
Before starting with the transport and setup of the machine, all General Safety Instructions in
chapter 5
must known!
6.1
Transport
The
Saphir 550 / 560
is fixed to the base of its box and completely packed inside a wooden case. Generally
speaking, the device is secured against transport damage. However as electronic components can be damaged
through transport, the instructions attached to the crating must be strictly observed.

Keep dry
Storage conditions: store in a dry location at an ambient temperature between 10-40°C.
6.2
Delivery condition
Inspect packaging material for external damage before opening the transport packaging. The
freight forwarder making the delivery or our service hotline must be informed immediately of any
damage. Use the delivery note to verify that all accessories are present.
6.3
Technical prerequisites
Before the
Saphir 550 / 560
can be put together, some factors about the machine surroundings have to be
checked and if so required, changed i.e. prepared in advance.
Please ensure that:
»
available power sources in Amperes and Volts are adequate. (see the machine nameplate)
»
space required for the machine is sufficient
»
ambient temperature is not below 10°C and not above 40°C.
»
substructure is stable and even.
