2.7.3 Slim optical and floppy drives
To uninstall the optical and floppy disk drives:
1. Disconnect the power and signal
cables connected to the rear of the
drives.
2. Loosen the two screws that secure
the drive bracket to the chassis.
The optical drive is attached to the
top of the bracket, and the floppy
drive to bottom.
3. Slide the drive bracket toward the
SCSI backplanes to release it from
the chassis, then carefully pull it out
of the drive bay.
