This connector is for a front panel Line In jack with a return path for
automatic signal switching.

11. Front panel audio connector (10-1 pin AAPANEL) 

(optional)

This is an interface for the Intel front panel audio cable that allow
convenient connection and control of audio devices.

Make sure to remove the caps from the LINE_IN, LO_L, and LO_R
jumpers if you installed the Intel front panel audio cable. Refer to page
2-23 for the location of the jumpers.
