TIP: In Android 4.2 and later, you can use Quick Settings to
toggle Wi-Fi, change display brightness, and more. To open
Quick Settings, swipe down from the top right corner of any
screen.

At the top of the screen you’ll find Google Search, which lets you
search your tablet or the Internet. Touch Google to type your
search terms, or the Microphone icon to speak them; you can
also say “Google” and your query to activate a voice search.
