Continued

TO TURN ON APPLIANCE

1.  Slide shut off plate open by pulling plate handle out. See Figure

10. Plate must be fully opened when burner is ON.

2.  Position ignition handle (located on the left hand side) clockwise,

press igniter button simultaneously until fuel is ignited, see Fig-

ure 10. At cold start, flame might not be too visible. It requires

approximately 5 minutes of operating time before flame pattern

stabilizes. Always check for heat around the area.

Note:

The Igniter operates with a 9V battery (supplied). Check

battery periodically. Replace battery if needed by unscrewing

battery compartment cap (see Figure 10).

TO TURN OFF APPLIANCE

1.  Slide shut off plate fully closed by pushing plate handle in com-

pletely and make sure flame is totally extinguished. Pull plate

handle out after 10 seconds to prevent ethanol vapor to build up.

TO RE-LIGHT APPLIANCE

1.  Wait approximately 10 minutes before re-lighting the burner

and make sure ethanol vapor had already dissipated.
