Canadian code CAN/ULC-S610-M87 and other pertinent codes 

require stainless steel chimney for the installation of this 

fireplace. A Cold Air Climate Kit is also required in Canada and 

is recommended for cooler regions in the United States. Below,

a national testing agency for use with this fireplace 

may be used if installed in accordance with the in-

structions by its manufacturer. A locally fabricated 

shroud may be used with IHP Shroud Leg Spacer Kit 

(SLK) in accordance with instructions provided with 

the shroud.

NOTICE: The firebox canopy (hood) must not be modi-

fied or replaced with a canopy that may be provided 

with the unvented decorative room heater.
