9.4 Pulling cable check and replacement:
Check the condition of the pulling cable once every three months, ensuring that it is not unravelled or
deformed. The pulling cable should be changed at least once a year, or when it has any of the previously
described flaws.

9.4.1 Disassembly
To replace the pulling cable:
1. To be able to disassemble the pulling cable, put the moving step to its top position and fasten it in this
position with some plastic clamping flanges.
2. Disassemble the swimming pool lift.
CAUTION

Before taking the Waterlift out of the pool, ensure that there is a suitable support to carry out
the maintenance services.

Take special care not to damage the 24
V
cc
cable connections or the swimming pool's
equipotential connection during disassembly and disconnection.

During the disconnection and maintenance services, suitably protect the terminals and
protective tube, preventing them from coming into contact with the water. Thoroughly dry the
terminals before connecting them.

3. Dismantle the motor cover removing the 6 screws that fasten it.
