to the front module, a channel with a width of 46 cm and a depth of 20 cm will have to be made from the front
module to the hole of the filtration box. This channel will be used to bury the connections between the two
elements.
•
Before installing the box, the lower drain must be installed inside the hole at the base of the box, having
first removed the red plug
(fig.9
). It is essential that this drain is installed, otherwise the box may fill up with
water and earth that enters the hole, jeopardising the equipment.
IMPORTANT
•
For transport purposes, the pump drain of the filtration box is disconnected. It must be glued before it is
connected outside
(fig. 10).
•
Level the base of the pit and wedge the box so that it does not rest on the lower drain. Place the box on
the bottom ensuring that the top is level with the ground
(fig. 11).
VERY IMPORTANT
•
Connect the pump drain and gravity drain separately.
These two drains cannot be joined together,
otherwise when the pool is emptied through communicating containers, the water would penetrate through the
base of the box and flood it. Use Ø 50 for the pump drain and Ø 32 for the gravity drain
(fig. 12).
3.3. CONNECTING THE FRONT MODULE TO THE FILTRATION BOX
• If the modules are joined, connect the inlets and outlets of the front module and the filtration box using the Ø
50 three part connections supplied. If the filtration box is installed at a certain distance from the front module,
the inlets and outlets will have to be connected using Ø 50 pipes and elbows (not supplied).
• The design of the appliance allows for a slight deviation between the pipes. PVC pipe glue (not supplied)
should be used.
•. If it has been decided to locate the filtration box at a certain distance from the front module, it is
recommended that the pipes are buried at a depth of 20 cm for their protection
(fig. 8-B).
The pipes should
rest on a bed of compact sand. Fill the spaces around the box and the channels with sand, compacting the
sand to ground level.
3.4. CONNECTING ELECTRICAL ELEMENTS
• Insert the cable from the front module (lamp cable) through the front packing gland of the filtration box and
connect it to the control panel strip marked 12 V designed for this purpose
(fig. 13)
.
VERY IMPORTANT
When connecting the electricity supply, make sure that the light is not switched on without being
submerged in water. If this does occur, turn it off immediately using the pneumatic switch (fig. 25
).
• Insert the power cord (not supplied) through the back packing gland of the filtration box. The use of H07-RNF
cable with three wires and 1.5 mm
2
section is recommended. Pass the cable around the edge of the equipment
to the control panel. Open the control panel, pass the cable through the packing gland marked 230 V and
secure the three terminals to the strips identified with the labels N, L and T (grounding), as indicated in
(fig. 14).
•
Check that the ground connection of the installation is correct.
•
The electrical installation should be done by someone qualified in working with electrical equipment. This
equipment is not designed for those with a physical, sensory or mental handicap or people lacking in
experience, unless done under supervision or with instructions of use from a person in charge of safety.
•
The equipment should be connected to a voltage of 230 V alternating current and 50 Hz power point, with
earth connection, protected by a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not
exceeding 30 mA.
•
It is essential that you use a multiple disconnection device with a space of at least 3 mm between surfaces to
disconnect the filter from the power supply.
