Setting the reference points
The desks may have to be re-initialized when set up for the first
time, following a power failure or after being disconnected from
the mains supply. If the control unit expects a new initialisation,
only lowering of the desk at reduced speed is possible. On the
control with display, this is also indicated with the notification
“RST”, which disappears once initialisation has been completed
successfully
Initialisation
Read through the following steps carefully before starting so that
the initialization procedure can be completed without difficulty –
this is important on account of the specified times which must be
maintained exactly.
TTo start initialisation, move the desk into its bottommost positi-
on.
1. To do so, press and hold the DOWN
▼
button on the control
until all the drives have reached the bottommost position.
2. Release the button for about 2-3 seconds.
3. Then, press the DOWN
▼
key again and hold it for at least
15 seconds. In the case of hand switches with display, RST
is shown on the display.
4. Release the button again.
5. Now press the DOWN
▼
button again until the desk
moves down slightly and then up again. Only release the
DOWN
▼
button when the desk is no longer moving.
6.
The desk is now initialised and can be set to the user‘s cus
-
tom height.
If the button is released too soon, this causes a desk malfunc-
tion. If the button was released early by accident, you must
repeat the process.
Please note:
After an error message or malfunction, the table is in a repair
mode. In this case press the ▼DOWN
▼
-
button for approx. 10s.
Now release the buttom and press the DOWN
▼
-
button again
for approx. 10s, until table moves. The table can now be moved
at a reduced speed to the lowest initialization position. Keep the
button pressed until the table moves down slightly and then up
again and then stops moving. The initialization is now completed.
Please note:
Ensure that no rolling cabinets or other solid objects are blocking
the desk from reaching the lower end point. The desk is outfitted
with an non-collision feature by default which automatically stops
it if there are any obstructions and causes it to move in the oppo-
site direction. This can be misinterpreted as moving to the lowest
position. No initialization is taking place here and the procedure
must be repeated from the beginning.
Please note:
If the control keys are released when moving to the reference
point before the procedure is complete, the reference run will be
interrupted and the entire initialisation procedure must be repea-
ted from the beginning.
