BASIC SETUP
When the lock is in Factory Mode (on delivery and after factory reset) and the battery is entered the
following options on how to deploy the lock is available.
A: QUICK SETUP OF MASTERCARD AND USER CARDS FOR USE IN PRIVATE MODE
First present a Compatible Card which will become a new Master Card. Then within 5 seconds present a
second card which will be registered as the first User Card. Continue to present cards within 5 seconds after
the previous registration to add additional User Cards. Then wait 5 seconds and the lock will go into Private
Mode. Further programming is then done by using the Programming Cards.
The sequence below describes an example of how to add one Master Card (1) and two User Cards (2 and 3). Up to
50 User Cards can be registered to each lock.

B: QUICK SETUP OF MASTERCARD FOR USE IN PUBLIC MODE
Present first Compatible Card which will become the Master Card. Then wait 5 seconds and the lock will go
into Public Mode. Further programming is then done by using the Programming Cards.
The sequence below describes an example of how to add one Master Card (1) for use in Public Mode.

C: USING THE COPYING CARD
STEP 1: Read the setup of a programmed lock and record it to the Copying Card

Ex: Present a Copying Card followed by the Master Card and present the Copying Card again for reading the setup
of the lock.
NOTE1:
No information of registered User Cards will be read into the Copying Card. User Cards always have
to be registred individually to the locks.
NOTE 2:
The card needs to be cleared before beginning this procedure, see special commando 34.
On delivery, the card is cleared.
STEP 2A: Programming locks with the Copying Card into Public Mode
A lock in factory mode will read the setup on the Copying Card. This can be repeated for as many lock as
required.
The sequence below describes an example on how to use the Copying Card to set up lock in Public Mode.

STEP 2B: Programming locks with the Copying Card into Private Mode
A lock in Factory Mode will read the setup on the Copying Card. After that the setup it’s possible to present
Compatible Cards to register them as User Cards. This can be repeated for as many lock as required.
The sequence below describes an example on how to use the Copying Card to set up the lock in Private Mode.
In this case 2 User Cards are also registered.
