Presented when the EFD is operating on the internal or Emergency
Backup Battery (EBB) (as configured). The countdo replaced by the
ON BAT annunciation with the battery’s % charge remaining.
NOTE
If the battery temperature is less than 0 deg C, the countdown
timer will begin at 10 minutes.

Presented when the EFD1000 has determined that the associated
function is invalid or failed and should not be used. The data is
removed from the display and replaced by a red “X” over the affected
display feature.
NOTE
Since the EFD1000 MFD only has a SAI and SHSI, only the
“ATTITUDE FAIL” and DIRECTION INDICATOR FAIL” annunciations
are possible.
