PRESENTATION
The UPS is a Line interactive
uninterruptible power system (UPS).
When utility input is Normal, the UPS will
charge the internal battery. If the utility
input is abnormal, the UPS can supply AC
power to the load immediately without
resetting the computer.
The UPS:
1. Utilizes microprocessor based
controls, to get assurance of
reliability.
2. Automatic frequency selection to
match with utility power.
3. Advanced battery management to
prolong battery's life and fully charge
the battery.
4. Overload & short circuit protection
both in line and battery mode.
IND600 UPS is designed keeping in mind
severe Indian Conditions. It has below
unique features, which no ordinary UPS
provides.

computers. The Manual Provides you with step by step guidance to install & use UPS. It contains important safety instructions for
operation & correct installation of the UPS .In case you have any problem with the UPS please refer to this manual before calling
customer service.
A. Inspect UPS
Remove the UPS from its package and
inspect it for damage that may have
occurred during shipping. If any damage
is found, re-pack the unit and return it to
the place of purchase.
B. Charging Battery
Charge battery for 16 hours for first time
run.
C. Install UPS
• Do not place UPS in Direct sunlight.
• Do not place UPS near Excessive heat
source
• Do not place UPS near Excessive
humidity or let UPS come in contact
with liquids.
Place the UPS atleast 20cms away from
the monitor to avoid interference.
D. Connect Computer to UPS
This UPS is equipped with 3 output
sockets. Data sensitive equipment such
as a computer, and monitor should be
powered by battery backup sockets.
Battery power is provided without
restart in case of power failure.
Note : Do Not Plug a laser printer, copier,
heaters, or other large electrical device
into the UPS. The power demands of
these devices will overload and possibly
damage the UPS.

F. User Interface
Plug in the 3 pin power cord into 230V AC
wall socket. Press the power switch to
turn on the UPS; press the power switch
again to turn off the UPS. Do NOT press
the switch too hard for extended life of
the power switch.
Front Panel:
The front panel incorporates one LED
and a switch. The
functions of these
are listed below:
LED Status:
1. AC Mode : Green
light steady.
2. Backup Mode : Green light blinking
Alarms:
1. Backup Mode : When in backup
mode, the green LED blinks and the
UPS Beeps every 2 seconds.
2. Battery low: Rapid beeping sound
every half second.
3. Overload : Continuous beeping
sound.
