To enter into enable mode of configuration follow the procedure below:

Once that you are into configuration mode you can enable a username and password for
subsequent local or remote access to the system
3.3.3 Remote Logging
In order to gain remote access to the ONU is necessary adding an IP Address to the ONU.
Adding an IP address to the ONU is possible only through OLT system CLI, applying a profile to
the corresponding ONU. See LightDrive OLT 2500 User Manual.
Once the IP has been provisioned to the ONU; you can issues a SSH or telnet session. The
session will be established through the default OMCI channel at 32 Kbps max bandwidthIn order to
add a Profile with an IP address the following commands must be issued:
3.3.3.1 Command on OLT System
service ip-host vlan <VLAN-ID> ip address <dynamic|static (x.y.z.f mask)>
ip-host:
Mantainace Element (ME) Type
VLAN:
VLAN id on which the se IP flows will be established
and has an DHCP server
configured and enabled.
Ip address:
way to take an IP address on that ME. Dynamic or Static.
Description
This command sets a IP dynamic or Static into aONU profile. The ONu profile must be applied
to take effect.
Mode
Configuration mode; ONU-profile context.
Example
The Following example shows a typical ONU profile declared on OLT LightDrive 2500 which
contains an IP-Host ME definition.
