5. TROUBLESHOOTING
Common malfunctions, description of error codes and correction methods

Can not be switched on
(Power light not illuminated)
Check to ensure the plug is inserted correctly into the outlet.
Check to ensure the covers are fitted correctly on the air intake ducts.
Can not be switched on
(Power light flashing)
Power button does not react
Check to ensure the air outlet cover on the top of the device is inserted straight and correctly.
The air is dirty, but the display
light is continuously illuminated
“green”.
Check to ensure the device set-up location fulfils the requirements, and that the contaminated air can easily
be suctioned by the device. Set up in another location if required.
The air contamination indicator
light remains "red” even while
the device is running consis-
tently.
Check whether the particle sensor is contaminated, and clean it if necessary.
There are crackling noises while
the device is in operation
Open the air intake cover on the top of the device and remove any dust particles.
The purified air smells bad
Check whether the filter is contaminated or has not been replaced in a long time. Clean and replace the filter
regularly.
The air purifier does not
automatically switch to Sleep
mode at night.
Check whether Automatic mode is turned on. Switch to Automatic mode if necessary.
