Scope of delivery
The device is shipped in a carton on a pallet. The scope of
delivery includes:
– The device.
– This operating manual.
– Manufacturer’s certificate.
– Tool bag with small parts.
– Steering wheel.
– Ignition key.
– See operating instructions of the engine manufacturer.
Unpacking
1. Remove the carton.
2. Check the air pressure of the tires (see Technical data).
Mounting
Mount the steering wheel:
1. Insert the screw (

) through the steering wheel and the
steering column.
2. Tighten the central fixing screw (

).
3. Screw the nut (
2
) onto the screw (
1
).
4. Fit the cap (

).
Storage
Warning
Danger of poisoning due to poisonous exhaust gases
► Do not operate the engine in closed or insufficiently
ventilated rooms.
► Please observe the safety instruction regarding the
poisoning risk.
Warning
Fire hazard
Parts of the device can become extremely hot during oper-
ation and this may cause fire.
► Please observe the safety instruction regarding the fire
risk.
Storing the device
Store the device in a locked, dry and sufficiently ventilated
room and out of reach of children. Always rectify faults of the
device before storage so that the device is always in opera-
tionally safe condition. Let the device cool down for at least
20 minutes before you store it.
Also observe the information regarding storage in the oper-
ator’s manual of the engine manufacturer.
Longer storage
1.
Observe the safety instructions for handling the fuel.
2.
When longer operating pauses are scheduled, the fuel
should be run empty as much as possible.
3.
Thoroughly clean the device.
4.
Preserve the engine.
– Unscrew the two spark plugs.
– Fill into each spark plug opening a tablespoon of en-
gine oil.
– Briefly acutate the choke (oil distribution in the cylin-
der).
– Screw the spark plugs back in.
– Do not put on the spark plug connector!
5.
Remove the ignition key and store it separately from the
device.
Have an authorised service centre check the device in the
fall.
Restarting
If you want to start the device after a longer storage, carry out
the tasks described in chapter Maintenance.
