SAFETY ADVICE
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Do not connect the appliance to a power outlet without overload protection (fuse).
• Do not connect the appliance to a power supply through a splitter or extension cord.
• WARNING! Do not cover the ventilation openings in the appliance or furniture
cabinet.
• Do not store potentially explosive substances such as aerosols containing flammable
propellants inside the appliance.
• To avoid risk of explosion or fire, do not place flammable products near or inside
the appliance.
• Do not turn on the cooking zones before you place pot or pans on them.
• Do not use the cooker for heating rooms.
• Do not scrape the hob with a sharp tool. Do not use the hob as a worktop.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cord, control panel or glass surface is dama

ged, so that the internal components are exposed.
• Ensure that small items of household equipment, including connection leads, do
not touch the hot oven or the hob as the insulation material of this equipment is
usually not resistant to high temperatures.
• Always use cookware suitable for the type of appliance (for more information, see
chapter Choice of Cookware).
• Before use any remove any liquids and food residue from the hob surface and wipe
it clean.
• In particular, sugar heated to high temperature on the surface of the hob can cause
irreversible damage.
• Do not use aluminium or plastic cookware. Do not place plastic or aluminium objects
on hot cooking zones.
• Do not place pans with a wet bottom on the warmed up heating zones as this can
irreversibly damage to the hob (permanent stains).
• Do not put pans weighing over 15 kg on the opened door of the oven and pans
over 25 kg on the hob.
• NOTE: Make sure you do not drop any heavy or sharp objects on the hob surface.
