and use your iron as specified in them, you will see that everything is such simple. Thus, you may obtain the maximum performance from your iron. Enjoy it.

A. SAFETY RULES
While using electrical devices, the following safety precautions must be regarded. Keep this
information for the uses in future.
• Read the instructions for use carefully.
• Before using your iron, check whether the power and voltage of your iron correspond to your electric supply system. If not, don’t use your iron and consult to the site you have bought
from.
• Never leave your iron uncontrolled while it is in operating condition.
• Unless a supervision and control is ensured by a person responsible for the safety of the devices regarding the use of the device, this device is not aimed to be used by handicapped
persons in physical, emotional and mental abilities (including children) or by the persons with the lack of experience and knowledge.
• The children must be held under supervision in order to assure that they don’t play with the device.
• If the feeder cord becomes damaged, this cord must be replaced by its manufacturer or the manufacturer’s service agent or a staff having the same competency to avoid any danger.
• In case of a use close to the children, maximum attention must be shown and the iron must be kept out of reach of children.
• Before cleaning the iron, it must be unplugged.
• While plugging or unplugging your iron, it must necessarily be at “min” off position.
• If the cable of your iron becomes damaged, if you have dropped the iron or a visible damage has occurred, if the iron leaks water out, never use it and take to the nearest Arnica
Authorized Service.
• In order to avoid electric shock; don’t immerse the cable, plug and iron in water or in any liquid.
• Clean your iron with a moist cloth.
• Take care of the cable not to hang down from the edge of your table or bench or not to contact another device.
• After finishing the ironing operation, set the steam control button at 0 position, place the iron vertically on its heel and unplug when you clean the device, fill or empty the water tank,
break for ironing even for a short time.
• When you use your iron or while cleaning, unplug it and be sure that it has cooled well before cleaning.
• After finishing with the iron, let it cool down and after it cools completely, put it away.
• Don’t operate the iron within reach of an oven or cooker etc that is operating and absorbing high electricity.
• While filling or emptying the water tank of the iron, unplug it necessarily.
• In order to avoid injuries, don’t touch the hot surfaces of your iron and be careful while turning it upside down, hot water may have remained in it.
• If the indicator light doesn’t go out, namely, it permanently continues to be on or if it is off, a malfunction may have occurred in your iron. In such a case, don’t use your iron and take
it to the nearest Arnica Authorized Service.
• For repair and spare parts, resort to the nearest Arnica Authorized Service.
• Only use original parts and accessories in your iron. You may supply these parts and accessories from the nearest Arnica Authorized Service.
• Always place the iron on a stable, smooth and horizontal surface.
• Never touch the hot surfaces while your iron is operating.
• Electromagnetic fields (EMF): This Arnica device complies with all standards concerning electromagnetic fields (EMF). When used properly and in accordance with the instructions in
this manual, the use of device is safe according to its scientific data today.
WARNING:
The device you have bought is household type. Don’t use for commercial purposes and in places of business.
During the first operation, don’t start at (max) setting. Your iron will be back to normal at (**) setting and after the second warning of the temperature light, move the steam control
button to steam position from 0 position, you may start to iron when steam comes out.
In the first operation, white cuttings may come out of your iron, they are harmless. Clean them by pushing the shock steam button before starting to iron.

D. USE
• It is normal for your iron to omit fume and exhalation in the first use. The reason is that the plastic parts used in your iron expand by heat. This case is quite normal and will disappear
after the first one or two uses.
Filling the water tank:
• Unplug the device.
• Set the steam control button at “0” position. (=steamless ironing)
• Open the tap of the water filling inlet.
• Fill the water tank up to the maximum level while the iron is in the horizontal position or in a position where its front side is slightly upright like (diagram 1).
• We recommend you to use distilled water if the tap water in the region you are located is very hard. Don’t use water whose de-scale has been removed chemically.
• Fill the water tank up to the MAX (maximum) level.
• Don’t put perfume, vinegar, coke, de-scaling agents, the agents to help ironing and other chemical matters into the water tank.
• Close the tap of the filling inlet.
• Don’t fill water in the water tank beyond the MAX. indicator. Otherwise your iron may leak water.
• If you need to put water in the iron again while ironing; unplug your iron necessarily.
• After your ironing operation finishes, set the steam control button at 0 position.
• After your ironing operation finishes, empty the water remaining inside your iron.
• In the first operation, start at a low temperature every time.
