Before use, it is necessary to make an external inspection of the product for the
absence of damage (cracks, dents, etc.). During the external inspection, pay
attention to the integrity of the product, the condition of the buttons (all buttons
should be easy to press and easy to return to their original state), and the
microphone (there should be no fractures of the microphone stand, it must be
fixed on the front panel).

Install the DIS at the operating site.
2.3 Safety precautions
During installation and operation of DIS, observe safety precautions laid out in local
regulations on electrical safety. To avoid electric shock, do not:
Change fuses in the power supply or phantom power circuits (see Figure 3)
without disconnecting the product from the power source or the control panel;
Operate the product with a damaged power or communication cable.
Connecting and disconnecting sockets and plugs for connecting a headset, an
external microphone, and a DIS is only allowed when the communication cable
with the control panel is disconnected.
It is strictly forbidden to disassemble the product connected to the control panel.
Do not use the product in rooms with high humidity (above 80%) or the presence
of conductive dust.
To ensure fire safety, follow the following rules:
Before connecting the product to the power supply, make sure the power and
communication cables are properly insulated;
Protect power and communication cables from damage
2.4 Installation, connection, and dismantling
2.4.1 DIS should be installed on a desk. DIS is connected to the network via the Uk
0
interface. The connection at the installation site is carried out using a multi-wire UTP cable,
compressed by an RJ-45 socket, which is connected to the RJ-45 outlet of the DIS
(see Figure 2, item 6). From the other side, the cable is connected to the RJ-45 socket, to
which the communication lines leading to the subscriber switch of the DCN or IPN network
are connected.
2.4.2 When the DIS expansion unit is used, a flexible loop included in the expansion
unit supply should be connected to Х11 socket (see Figure 4) and put through the slot
between the cover and the enclosure of the DIS unit (see Figure 2, item 8). To give the
structure additional rigidity, connect the call station and the extension unit with a metal
bracket from the DIS unit scope of supply.
