General
• The charger converts mains voltage to low DC voltage.
• The charger must only be used for ArjoHuntleigh battery
type
NEA
0100.
• The charger is ready for use as soon as it is plugged in.
• Disconnect the mains by unplugging the charger.
• A green indicator LED indicates the charger is ready for
charging, there is no On/Off button on the charger.
Charging Intervals
• To prolong life of batteries, charge at regular intervals.
• If the ArjoHuntleigh product is used frequently, it is
recommended to use two batteries, one in operation and one
being charged
Charging Procedure (6 Steps)
1 Plug in the charger in a power outlet.
(See Fig. 1)
2 The charger indicator LED turns green when there is no
battery connected.
3 Attach the battery to the charger
4 Plug the charger connector into the battery.
5 The charger indicator LED will stay orange during
charging.
6 Once the battery is charged the LED will turn green.
Charging the battery can take up to 14 hours depending on the
battery status (e.g. if the battery is charged for the first time or after
a longer storage period).
WARNING
Do NOT charge the battery in a sealed
compartment due to fire hazard.
CAUTION
To avoid breaking the charger when unplugging the
battery connector: Grip the plug and don’t pull the
cord.
NOTE
The battery can be left in the charger unit even if it is
fully charged without being overcharged.
